Summary: We had a very nice stay. The room, which was next to the river, had a beautiful view. The garden was full of birds in the morning. All at the reception were very helpful in giving us directions to the places we should visit. Would highly recommend for any family who wants to visit this region.

Summary: We have stayed at Alpine River Cottages many times over the years, and for a good reason. The location is central to both Bright and Myrtleford, without the business of either town. The cottages overlook the tranquil Ovens River, where in Summer you can swim and enjoy the natural surrounds. This time, we received a surprise, an upgrade to the new cottage—a self-contained tiny house with a view of the Mountain and the beautiful river. Warm and cosy, we had peace and quiet. The morning alarm, the local Kookaburras and Yellow-tailed Cockatoos. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Narelle greeted me upon arrival and was so lovely and kind. She went above and beyond to make our stay really memorable. Room was clean, comfortable and outside space was really well thought out- had a few games of foose ball and table tennis with my teenager. Can’t wait to return!

Summary: A beautiful spot alongside and overlooking the river. Our host was lovely and the bedroom is really nice. Kitchen and bathroom quite chilly and outdated but functional. Sofa bed provided instead of single bed but comfy enough when mattress moved to floor. I'd stay again!

Summary: Located in beautiful surroundings, the riverside cottage is very comfortable and clean. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended
